About

Welcome to my photoblog. My name is Vincent and I started the photography 2 years ago when I was living in USA near New York City (Lyndhurst, NJ). I was spending a lot of time with my flatemate and he gave me the photography virus. I started with a Canon 500D and aSigma 18-250mm lens. Pierre taught me about the exposure, aperture, exposition time, depth of field, composition, post processing with Lightroom … I practiced in the street of New York City, Lyme in New Hampshire state, New Jersey around Newark, Lyndhurst and Kearny and finally in California during a road trip of two weeks.

I like speeding time outside looking for a “nice shot” but I also like the photography gear. I wanted affordable all-weather photography gear so after 6 months I sold my Canon and switched to Pentax.

I came back to France last year. It was kind of hard to adapt to Paris, street landscape is really different than in the USA. So I did a long serie of black & white and desaturated shots. Then I came back to color in Paris and in Iceland, place of my last vacation.

Enjoy!
